PAUSE

Terms of use

Last updated 31 October 2026

  1. Who we are. PAUSE is provided by Vivian Ibe, Lagos, Nigeria (“we”).
  2. Not medical advice. PAUSE is a self-reflection and habit tool. It does not provide medical, psychological or addiction treatment, diagnosis or advice. If you may be physically dependent on alcohol or another substance, speak to a healthcare professional before stopping, because withdrawal can be dangerous. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
  3. Age. You must be 18 or older to use PAUSE.
  4. Your account. Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app.
  5. Your content. What you write is yours. You let us store and sync it only so we can provide PAUSE to you.
  6. Fair use. Don’t misuse the service, try to access anyone else’s data, or interfere with how it runs.
  7. Availability. We work to keep PAUSE reliable, but provide it “as is”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
  8. Liability. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
  9. Changes. We may update these terms, and will tell you in the app about important changes.
  10. Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
